Data controller

What data we process

Browsing data: the systems that run the site automatically collect some technical data, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. We use it to keep the site secure and working.

Data you give us: if you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you choose to share (name, contact details, message) to reply to you.

Palermo guide: if you download the free guide, we process your email address to give you the guide and record the request in our customer management system (Gorilli CRM). Only if you tick the box, we also use it to send you travel ideas and tips now and then; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Statistics: only with your consent, we use Umami to measure in aggregate, anonymous form how the site is used. Umami does not use profiling cookies and does not let us identify you.

Support chat: if you write in the chat at the bottom right, your messages and any details you choose to share are processed through Kommander.ai to answer you, with help from an automated assistant and, when needed, a person from TRAME.

Purposes and legal basis

We process data to answer your requests and for pre-contractual steps (Art. 6.1.b GDPR), for our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6.1.f) and, for statistics and travel emails, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time.

Retention

We keep data for as long as needed to handle your request and, if a relationship follows, for the periods required by law. Browsing data is kept for a limited time, unless needed to investigate abuse.

Who can access the data

Data may be processed by suppliers that support us (hosting, email, customer management, statistics, support chat), appointed as data processors. We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing, by writing to info@trameexperience.it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
